    blah blah blah

Well, my pops sprained his knee. He is still debating whether he should come or not. That really sucks! This would be his first time at Sipsey. I just put the finishing touches on packing my gear and getting everything together. NOW, I may not be able to make it because of work. It depends on the weather too. Our ignition time for control burns is now moved to Sunday, so I will have to be on call. Hopefully that will change since the weather is sketchy, but as it stands there are crews coming in from the Smokies and the whole southeast region. Hopefully within the next 2 days they will see that the RH is gonna be too high and bump it. But...I do work for the Govt, so you never know.
I SHOULD know by tomorrow. This stresses me out a little!

If I do get to come, I will bring 5 gallons of potable water.
And some white bean chicken chili
Do we need a community tarp maybe?
    Is anybody bringing a dog?

We're from the gov'ment...and we're here to hep ya. Tell dad he has to come. If for no other reason than to trade stories with me. I had such a great time talking with him at Dismal Canyon. A community tarp would be a nice thing especially if it is raining most of the weekend. Although the forecast seems to be improving as the time draws closer.

Praying now for one lone soul in authority to suddenly garner two brain cells that can rub together and see the wisdom of postponement for the burns.

I plan to bring my big Noah 12 tarp that we can gather under.

Most likely I am going to have to miss this one since we are full swing into trying to pack up our home. If it was a little closer maybe but I'll definitely try to make the next one.

Now you're stressin' me out! Tell your boss we need a controlled burn a little farther north: like Washington DC.

I'm with DaddyDaddy, tell Joe he has to come. If you can't come I will pick him and Dakota up myself.

A community tarp sounds good. I am bringing a dog: not Jethro this time, it's BeBop's turn.

Dang! I hate to hear that, but I understand. I remember Max and Logan playing in the creek at the Cheaha Hang last fall. Tell him (well, maybe not) there are lots of creeks and waterfalls to play in at the SWA.

Thanks squidbilly. I was really looking forward to it but it just wasn't in the cards. Logan and I will try to make the Cheha hang it may though.
