My Dream-Hammock Dangerbird came in today!

I love it! Super comfy...and I don't think I did horrible hanging it for the first time though I know I have some learning to do in terms of how to hang it just right.

I have no complaints what-so-ever. I figure the static kinda comes with the territory...lol:

    Thanks Randy!

Looks nice. Check out Theultimatehang.com for instructions and a calculator for hanging it just right.

    DangerBird
    Length: 10ft
    Layers: Single Layer
Outside Fabric & Color: 1.6 Oz Ripstop Nylon Coyote "FAB-40D-B-Coyote"
    Overcover Color: Black
    Suspension: Whoopie Sling
    Asym Lay: Right

The fabric is AWESOME. In the photos at DIY gear supply it looks bright, almost yellow - but it's really more of a light brown with some yellow tones depending on how you look at it - which I love because I didn't want it to be like beacon in the woods when I hang it, but I'm also not big on camouflage.

I'm a "always be prepared" type of guy, so being able to separate the winter cover and / or bug net wasn't something I could imagine ever doing (the one trip you leave something at home is the one trip you need it) so them being attached doesn't bother me what-so-ever.

I find myself very relaxed and able to lay in a variety of positions comfortably. Unfortunately I don't have any trees in my back yard, so I have to go down a bit in the woods behind my house to hang it. Gonna install something on my porch so I can hang out there for a test night.
