My gf recently got me a Hammock Gear pillow and it weighs exactly 3 oz on my scale. It comes with a long shock cord that can be attached to your hammock suspension so the pillow stays at the same height in your hammock.
It's pretty nice for day hangs but for the weight I'll probably stick with my Cascade Designs ultralight pillow case for backpacking. At .8 oz it's a bit bigger and works great when stuffed with a puffy jacket or other insulation layers.

Anybody have opinions about the inflatable pillows (e.g., Exped air pillow)?

I have an inflatable neck pillow from wally world, and while lightweight and extremely compact, it gets ripe after a couple days because the pvc doesn't wick and it gets all sour. If I were going to use it on the trail, I'd take some camp soap and wash it every few days to keep the stink down a bit. Last trip I took no pillow and paid the price of feeling skeeters slam in to the bottom of the hammock all night trying to "take me to their leader".

Reminds me of a Newsboys song... Anybody?! Hahaha
