Mods please add a comment to my thread that was moved to off topic?

Hi mods,

I had a DIY canoe thread that was moved to off-topic - no arguments here, in the heat of the moment, I wanted to share with everyone here; but it is definitely off topic.

The issue is that I cannot view the thread now because I'm not a contributor to the site, and I promised to post picture updates.

Can you please add a note to the thread that I am unable to update with pictures so people don't think I flaked out? If you can reply with a pm, I will eventually ask you to post a link to wherever I end up putting the pictures.

p.s. I don't know if it is standard procedure or not - but it might be a good idea to post in threads moved to off-topic when the OP is unable to view them that this is the case.

Others can see in that thread that you are not a donating member and will understand what happened. It is a frequent occurrence.

Unfortunately, if we started making posts for others, that is all the moderators would get done.
