It all started a couple if months ago with some Shug videos....
I borrowed a Clark tropical, froze, then bought a used winter yeti, a Clark NA, and a used ridge runner with UQ and tarp, all from forum members - all awesome smooth transactions. Also a hennesey cub for my 4 year old daughter... Long story short I was warm and comfortable to 14 degrees the other night in the Clark but it felt very small, cramped even. The Ridgerunner is super comfortable but a lot easier for my kids to sleep in than the cub. They love it! So I feel like I should give the gathered end one more try... Emailed Brandon and after giving myself fits trying to decide I bought a blemished (second) WBBB xlc. (Single 1.7). He can't make a topcover for it ( the blem is a zipper issue) so I fretted and read posts until I realized I could make my own topcover, make it as warm as the Clark, and save weight to boot. In all my searching I found no one who had an xlc and wished they had a a regular BB. So I hope I made the right choice. Thanks for all the information you all share here, it's a super big help.
