    Lightbulb help with comfort adjustments.

Need help with my adjustments getting ready for camping season..

Hammock dimensions are 65 x120long. I have about a 98inch fixed ridge line.

I can't seem to get a flat lay.. when diagonal (my feet make about a 35* angle from the center line of the hammock.) It feel like I'm definitely tilted in towards the middle of the hammock at a slight angle.. and I can't extend my foot angle any farther as I run out of hammock...

    I'm 6'3. 280 and have a 20inch shoulder width...

Do I need a longer hammock? Wider? Less ridge? More?

I tried taking the ridge to about 92inch and felt like I lost room and didn't gain any additional foot angle

Try adding a foot box, and/or adjusting sag. Sometimes a longer ridgeline is better for a flatter lay. You're ridgeline will experience more strain, however.

I agree with experimenting with the ridgeline length. Make an adjustable ridgeline and have at it.
Next is a personal preference, but at 6'-1", I like an 11' long hammock. While most agree that a longer hammock is more comfortable, there are a few big hangers that love their miniature Nano 7's.
Width preference is all over the place with no rhyme or reason. Personally, I like 54" width.
