    Hanging in the forums

Does anyone else check out the forums while hanging? I'm led here with the dogs and a cuppa in the back garden checking the forums on my iPhone. Seems wrong but right at the same time. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396102675.042542.jpg

Are you on a hill or did you climb a tree?

Anyhow, I wish I had as good reception as you!

It's quite a slope to the house. Get no 3G here in the sticks so have had to make a complex temp setup to get wifi this far from the house. Works a treat though and will make permanent soon. Being in IT has occasional benefits. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396103280.214644.jpg

Girlfriend is in a longer today. As soon as my HH arrives she can have the spare hammock =)

I shun technology when I'm out... I'm trying to get away from it, not use it... so yeah, it would be sacrilegious to me.

If I'm out in the woods I don't. I do it so much at home, that I want to do everything different when I'm in the woods. Now the backyard is a different story; I'll cruise the forum, at least until I fall asleep.

I used to leave my phone in the car, even on solo trips where it is smart to have one for emergencies. But I got so tired of not having anything to do this winter while camping (dark at 5pm!) that I started bringing my phone so I could play on the web.

I hate that internet is so addicting.

Yeah I resisted the urge to cruise the web for a long time while I'm out in the woods because I thought it was against the reason I'm out there. I occasionally do now on solo trips...it isn't as evil as I thought it would be. Haha.
