    HELP.... New Hammock

Ok people i bought a ENO dbl nest.. Ive hung it with tree straps and dutch hooks, with a carabiner attached.. Also i removed the original straps and replaced with whoopie slings on the hammock .Ok here is my problem I've hung it and when i climb in, it bundles me like a burrito.. I can't lay in an angle in order to lay flat... Am i doing something wrong or does it take time for hammock to stretch out...

A gathered-end hammock will tend to be floppy, but hanging it too tight or loose will make it worse. Did you adjust your hang angle? It sounds like you might have the hammock strung a bit too loose or too tight... a 30 degree angle on the ends is usually about right.

Some people complain that the ENO's cause a banana feeling when they lay in it because of the way it is a shorter hammock. I think it is exacerbated when you are 6 ft or taller or a little heavier. But like someone else mentioned, you may just want to experiment with your hanging angles and see if that helps.

I'm 6' and 250 lbs and use an ENO Doublenest. Once I fiddled with the suspension to get the right feel, I sleep diagonally just fine. I tend to be a side sleeper, and the ENO lets me keep flat. You might try adding an adjustable ridgeline to help dial in the right "hangle".

Check out tip number 1. It sounds like you might be hanging your ENO without enough sag.

I have a gt double and I am 6'5" I found hanging it with a lot of sag produces the best hang for me. I can get comfortable with a good diagonal lay that has no Ridge. It's easier for me than the xlc is to hit the spot. Just keep fiddling and you will get it.

I wonder if some kind of short spreader bar mod on the ends would help? But I agree with what's been said, sounds to me like its strung up too tight.
