Ultralite Backpacker Asym Classic, Tie Out Specs

Afternoon All:

Can anyone here tell me both what the "stock" and "custom"Ultralite Backpacker Asym Classic (bottom entry), Tie Out Specs are. My factory standard tieouts (which seemed to me to be about 1/8" shockcord died in a matter of 20 uses or so)...so I would be very interested in hearing about custom tie out cord lengths and/or diameters for this particular hammock.

Any help would be appreciated!

Just got a reply from the expert

folks at Hennessy Hammock:

"The shock cord is 36" long and approximately 3mm in diameter."

Just curious if you asked for or were offered replacements since they seemed to fail prematurely.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper just to buy some shock cord locally? Buy some extra and add it to all your guy lines to prevent tarp stretch.
