Hi all just wanted to say I did a test night in the backyard on friday. Wanted to test out a sleeping bag underquilt I converted, my new WL big daddy tarp and the new set of turtledog stands I built. I was surprised how cold the quilt took me. The low forecast showed 34 so I thought I would get cold right away and have to bail out. The quilt was a kids 20 degree north face bag and I figure I could get maybe 40 degrees out of it. I climbed in and got comfy and it was very warm. It was already 40. Fell asleep and woke up at about 430am and it was down to 34 I was still warm! Awoke again at 6 temp was down to 26 now. I was definitely cold now. So I figure bout 35 would be a safe low for that quilt. The turtle dog stands worked very well and the big daddy tarp is extremely nice good coverage! uploadfromtaptalk1396231066478.jpguploadfromtaptalk1396231108578.jpg
