Oware has their 20yrd batches of sil 2nds back in stock. It's $50-60 shipped depending on what color you want. I just ordered some to make a winter tarp for my wife.

The embedded hyperlink doesn't seem to show up on a couple of the new forum styles, so here's the plain link http://shop.bivysack.com/product.sc?...&categoryId=10

    Anyone tried magnafabrics.com?

Just curious... I just ordered 32 yds of 1.1 ripstop at 68" wide for $18.88, or $0.59/ yd. + shipping, (which worked out to about the same @ $19.27......) Still was the best deal I could find on ripstop though.... Not seconds, all though I would have been willing to go that route if it I could get a better deal.... but that's hard to beat...

Shortly after I placed the order, somewhere I saw on their page, something to the effect of 'many fabrics not listed online.... call for details.'. I sent a quick email asking if they sold any sil-nylon. Got a response saying to call to discuss my needs etc.....

Didn't bother calling cause I saw my order had already shipped, and was only going to get it if I could add it to my existing order, to save on shipping costs.

Even with shipping, a great source for ripstop nylon... Wondering if anyone knows if they have sil-nylon as well??? Could be another great source for cheap sil-nylon..... Anyone know??

My ripstop should be in tomorrow...

Many HF members are happy customers of Magna Fabrics. I've bought several rolls but I don't know about silnylon.

These are ends of commercial rolls and sometimes, but certainly not always, there is writing or damage on the first yard of so. The low cost certainly offsets this.

The one time I ordered multiple rolls, the was little or no savings on shipping.

Here's a few links to additional threads about Magna.
