Yes a tarp made for this (diamond shaped?) would be interesting.
'Course I think you have to remember that _this_ hammock is made for a European market. Thongs are done a bit differently across the pond from the US they even have Saunas and Bee-Days over there, I'm told.

I'm thinking my superfly with pullouts would work perfect. Or any tarp with pullouts.

If you need a tester/reviewer, I am flip flopping the AT this year.
Let me know of your shipping prices.

My HH Hammock ALWAYS got rave reviews on the trail and many people switched from tents,

Looks awesome to me. I took the plunge and pre-ordered one. I have a feeling my wife will claim it as hers, though. I showed her the video and she said it looks perfect for her. I love the idea of being able to stomach sleep Ina hammock. I hope it is good as it looks in the video. I do have concerns about the tarp coverage, but maybe the finished product will provide more head/foot coverage than the prototype in the video.
I will have to figure out a way to incorporate some Amsteel and Zing-it, or I might go in to withdrawal.

I really like this design. Due to a shoulder injury, I had to stop hammocking. My HH Jungle forced my shoulders to round forward and couldn't deal with the pain, and sleeping on my side was uncomfortable in the Jungle. I think one could design an under quilt to fit this, but it would be unnecessary if the sleeping pad was well insulated, at least for most temps. Maybe there will be several sizes to come? If I could get a Downmat 9 and a small reflector in there, I think I could handle most winters.

Any plans for a Canadian distributor?? (PLEASE!)

Ooops. Nevermind. just checked the site, and the Downmat 9 is recommended. Now I really want one.

Congrats on the new hammock design! I played around with a similar concept several years ago, but was never able to overcome some of the engioneering challanges (its a very different design than a gathered end hammock --with uniqe and difficult characteristics--I gave up messing with the idea after 6 months of frustration----I totally respect anybody who makes this idea a success!) Great job, and I wish you great success with your new business! (may you sell many, many hammocks and make a ton of money!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
