Hi CamoEvo, the thunderbird is also a fine hammock, still enjoying mine.
I got the tarp from Paul @ UGQ (undergroundquilts.com), custom made. He's a great guy and a pleasure to business with. Very well made tarp, and I think it complements the Ridgerunner well, ie doesn't effect the view out of the hammock much. Love it.

DaddyDaddy, yeah would make an brilliant blind, I just need to practice shooting my bow from inside the hammock now, lol.

Jshep420, thanks, and looks like an awesome trip there..

Hey CamoEvo, I just got a cracking idea; we should organise a 'Multicam Hammock Hang', that would be neat, ill get on a plane for that..

My forum name is Fish<><; I'm in the navy; and I hate sleeping on the ground. If I didn't need ground to walk on or measure resistance to, I think I could happily give it up.

I have a UQ from Paul, and though I'm happy to do business with him, the weight is too much on those camo tarps for my backpacking. I think I'll get one from Bushcraft USA. As far as a group multicam hang and getting on a plane in Moscow, it's hard enough trying to organize a hang with in a state!

Yeah, its not the lightest tarp, but I like it for the strength.. had a thinner tarp get ripped by a fallen branch once in high winds, had to end a trip early because of it. Since then Ive always carried a spare one (cf for the lower weight), but this one weighs the same as 2 lightweight tarps.

You gonna get a Ridgerunner to go with your lynx Meanderin'Speed?
Nah, I went with a JRB BMBR, and I love it. The Lynx fits it perfectly.
