K, it looks good. Just wondering what makes it better than the Zip stove? At 17 Oz its 7 OZ lighter than the SolHuma.
Just wondering: They both seem to burn the same stuff.
Good luck in your search.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
From what kwpapke told me, it is more compact when closed up and more stable with a pot on it. I believe he said that someone had the Zip stove at a campout and he compared the two. My thought is when I go with my brother-in-law and four boys it would be lighter because of not carrying fuel. Plan on boiling a few pots of oat meal, pasta and hot chocolate. It also simmers quite well with the two fan speeds and damper control. I know finding a used one is a long shot, but thought I'd give it a try.
Shug, thought about lightening kwpapke's pack, but he's such a nice guy .
