VIDEO: Sipsey Wilderness Area 1st Annual Hammock Hang

First off, I want to thank Squidbilly for arranging this hang, and graciously providing provisions for dinner Saturday night. Also thanks to both his sons for helping guide day hikes on Saturday morning. We thoroughly enjoyed this.

We all gathered and camped at Wolfpen camp on Friday evening, ans others came in of Saturday also. Saturday held your choice of 2 day hikes. One was more bushwhacking, the other on established trails (albeit a longer hike). Both hikes held some interesting stops of water falls and creek crossings, as well as old cemeteries. It was a great day for sure, and the weather was fantastic.

We had around 20 people hanging on this trip, will try to list them all below...please correct if I miss any guys. We enjoyed discussing hammock gear, as well as DIY skills. As always, it was a great time and I am sure to be doing this again.

Thanks for the video Ashley. It's really nice to see the highlights of your hike, since I was on the other one. Now I wish I had taken some pics at least of our hike!
