Just before tossing my top entry tulle bugnet in the trash yesterday, yes tulle has a short life span, I weighed it out at 9.3 oz. Hopefully the next will come in lighter. I'll probably be going with Dutch's noseeum but as a bottom entry with no shockcord, cordlocks, etc.

You can reduce the weight of the WMT mesh fabric (which I noticed has almost doubled in price around here) by tapering the final shape to be shorter and following the lines of your hammock. You may end up having to sew new channels at the bottoms. Wally sells a very thin white shock cord that's light weight also.

How much does the walmart mesh go for? Is it significantly less than $3 a yard?

For about $55-$60 you can get enough noseeum for three 11 foot hammocks from these guys with free shipping:

Haven't ordered any yet, but plan to unless I find a significantly cheaper option or someone knows their stuff is junk....

If I remember right my walmart curtain bug net cost me about 30$ total but it's a monster way bugger then it needs to be I have to say it's pretty hot mesh but it's really durable your not going to acadently rip it up.

Angles have always confused me lol, so ATM I basically have a long rectangle bug net, how would I go about figuring out how to get the angels I need to sort of "follow my hammock"?

His is $.40 more a yard + shipping. If there is something else I need to get from him I'll probably go that way.....his isn't that much more and I'd know who I'm dealing with.

So this stuff, and Dutch's stuff, is probably cheaper or at least the same price. For $30 you could make a net for like, a 17 foot hammock!

    Mine is 15.2oz

Quite heavy due to the zipper and compression sack.
