Ouch. My Walmart bug net was about $10. Tough, but 12oz.

Hah! So far I'm still winning in the heaviest bug net!

You all keep reminding me that I need to get a sewing machine again. Arrrrg.....decisions.
The ground is hard, and full of rocks...
just got some material from the wal mart fabric section, sale at 1.50 a yard...its a brownish-tan sort of sheer material, looks to be very similar to the noseeum netting I salvaged from a tent.....its very lightweight. I only paid $2.89 because it was not 2 yards, but had 1.75 yards left on the bolt...this is going to be on my silnylon/dwr hammock shelter ends.... A suggestion, look in the fabric sections of the local Wal Marts for the sheer materials.......they're often pretty durable and quite useful, most often used for costumes and dresses.
Their is some netting I have been looking at at Joan's although I don't want to buy it knowing I may be able to shed off a few more ounces with noseaum because the stuff on bolts in the store I can't weigh it obviously if I could that would make things a lot more nice for me lol
