    i don't bother trying to remove sap on my treestraps. here in or its an uphill battle,all the trees are goey. so i just keep them in a sill stuffsack

    I must lead a charmed life - I've never gotten tree sap on my tree straps. I've had a few blobs on my tarp but I just roll them into a ball to remove them.

    I kinda worry about cleaning silnylon with mineral spirits. Mineral spirits obviously breaks down un-cured silicone (like diy seaqm sealer). I wonder if it would have a damaging effect to the cured silicone in the tarp.
