Love this site. Been using ideas from the DIY section for about a year now. Just getting around to actually posting a thing or two. I've been on two "hanging" backpacking trips so far...both were cold so now I'm working on an underquilt.

Hey, fellow backpacker from Eastern Washington here that just joined as well, but not nearly as far along as you are. How cold was it on the nights you've been out and needed more insulation?
Edit: Oooh, the related threads thing below my post wasn't recent like I thought
I live in sweet home Alabama. But, I was born in Washington, we have a piece of property just north of Metaline Falls WA. I envy you, so close the Selkirk mountains that enjoyed as a youth. I'll be out there next summer for Down river days on the upper Pend Orielle River. So many great places to hike and hang. Enjoy what you have so close to you. I also love Priest river Idaho.
