I have ordered 3 rolls from them and thought the prices were excellent even with shipping.

Went back thru and looked at my past orders. I paid

$1.60 a yard w/shipping for 40 yards each of Marpat Camo and Coyote Tan Ripstop

$0.73 a yard w/shipping for 200 yards of ACU Camo ripstop

So even with shipping its a great deal

Magna does not fold the fabric or sell it on "retail bolts". These are commercial rolls.

Magna ships on full width rolls so your package will be the width of the full unfolded fabric plus 3"-4" and it is that length that makes the shipping high.

The shipping may be more than when ordering smaller amounts from other places but IMO you get a better bang for your $$ going thru Magna. Only limitation is you have to order the roll lengths available and some fabrics are not available.

Their shipping is "high" but you have to consider they're shipping huge rolls. I have no doubt that they charge actual shipping. My 68" wide ACU ripstop roll would barely fit in a the Fedex truck according to the delivery guy.

The more frustrating thing about Magna is that they often don't have small enough quantities to order. I had to look at my invoice, but my 30D ACU ripstop pure finish came out to ~$49 for 24yds ( ~$2.05/yd) - with $1.25/yd of that being the price of the fabric itself. I've only made a dent in it so far!

They were friendly in e-mail communications and answered a few of my questions. Sometimes you have to e-mail them to get real up to date availability. Overall, a good experience.

Super cheap, but I've already found a stain on mine (not listed as a 2nd). Still, if that's the only blemish in 260 yards or so, I won't be complaining.
Just being able to get ripstop shipped for less than $1/yard total is fantastic. Don't think I found less than $3/yard before finding Magna.

I also got some of their 'hammock' fabric. I'll try one or two hammocks with it (heavy, not very breathable-might be okay for a bridge), but I'll probably use it mostly for packs.

Once in awhile the mess up an order but they will make it right without any problems and if you can find what you want in stock it is gonna be a better deal than anywhere else, even with shipping.IMO
