Add bugnet to hammock

I have a rather simple question reguarding adding a bugnet to the hammock. From what i understand i need to
fixate the hammock in a parallelogram. how much do i need to tidy it up and how lose should i keep the bugnet
before i sew it on?

Any thought that might help a nooby nab on his first attempt :O)
