Looks like great hang. What would be the closest airport. Would like to come depending on cost.

    Hey, TDHanger!
The closest major airport to the trail head would be Eugene, Oregon. From there, you have two driving choices. #1-- it's about a 3.0 hour drive if you go along the coast. It goes by fast, as the drive from Eugene to the coast, then north along the coast (Hwy. 101), is one of the most scenic drive in the US.
#2--Go from Eugene to Corvallis, then on to Tidewater, Oregon, where the Sanctuary tour and hike is. This is less scenic, but only 1.5 hours to get there.

    OR-99W is just past W 17th Ave

I'm hoping to attend. If I do, I'll get my donation in as quickly as I can. I could also help haul gear or people if needed. I'm in Veneta.

That's awesome! Thanks, 5TH. I'll probably take you up on that offer. We might have a few out of staters coming for the hang this year (it just keeps getting bigger every year)

PS--BTW--we should get together for a hike or something. You, me, and skewed are all in the same place. Maybe Rip Waverly will come...IF we're lucky. LOL. (sorry, private joke).

Hah! I just watched Rip's video of the first hang, and recognized someone in the video. Gavinar is a co-worker of mine...

Not to be presumptuous, I will add a 3rd option if you fly into Eugene: ride along with me.

I am game. My availability isn't the best but I certainly will try my best. Sundays are usually great.

    Cheers,

Yeah, me too. I typically have Sun/Mon off. Usually I will hike in somewhere late Saturday night and leave sometime Monday morning.

As I now live in Florida, and am buying a house next month, I don't think I will make the Hang, but I will try to donate so the price break is available to all. I'll need a reminder in July.

I haven't seen Gavinar in forever! He just dropped off the face of the earth. See if he wants to come this year, we'd love to have him.
