Hey plowhorse, I haven't been up that direction in a long time. Used to go over Carson when I was a kid tho. You'll have to tell us all about it and refresh my memory.

Lori, beautiful pics- what a great trip that must have been! Did you always have trees for hanging at the spots where you decided to camp?
Pretty much anywhere I've gone, there's trees of some suitable shape and size. Sometimes staying with the tent dwellers means I have to use trees that are too close together, but it's no big deal. I'm glad to have fifteen foot straps tho - the trees can get big in the Sierras.
