    Drip lines

Just ordered a WBBB and Superfly. What's best to use for drip lines with the webbing suspension so water doesn't run down and soak the hammock?.
I'm sure it's been discussed, but maybe I'm using the search function wrong.

The cinch buckles should act as a water break.

I just discovered a video by Derek Hansen that covers this topic.

Yip, they do. If you switch the straps to whoopie slings, it's easy enough to tie a piece of string or shoelace under the tarp, but before the hammock. Most metal hardware (buckles, dutch hooks, etc.) acts as a sufficient water break, though.

Assuming that the working end of the whoopie is under the hammock, should that function as a built-in dripline?

What do you guy think of cutting the top of a water bottle off and putting a hole in the cap to run the suspension threw and using that as drip line?

Usually my dutch biners do a fine job, but if it's really pouring, I'll tie a piece of cord on the whoopie
