    Best glue for waterproofed ripstop

So this isn't strictly hammock or tarp related.
But it will be used to store my underquilt

I'm trying to design and make a rolltop compression bag with an air valve to let the air out, as I squish. After I roll the top.
A Bit like ExPeds telecompression bag.

Making a Rolltop bag isn't too difficult once you can sew (Which I'm getting there with)

The issue I have is the valve to fabric joint. My instinct says glue the valve in. I'm still trying to find a valve I can buy, One Idea was to use a plastic drinks bottle lit cut right back. (Its waterproof and holds air well).

But since it's going to be made in some sort of waterproofed material, what Glue should I use?

    Interesting project!
I've made flotation dry bags for stuffing into the ends of kayaks, but they don't have a one-way valve - they have a hose fitting and a (NRS) twist valve.
Another approach is the 'breathable panel' like the OR compression dry bags use. Those are good bags - I use them for down sleeping bags.

Getting a glue that will stick to a drinks bottle might be tricky. For fabric, just try to match the glue to the fabric coating. I used a glue for patching vinyl pool liners in my float bags.

why not just use a patch of waterproof-breathable fabric? that would let the air purge, and still protect the contense.( be sure to use a air-permeable wpb fabric, as some are not, they wick woisture through the fabric rather than using microscopic holes letting it pass one way, i would suggest 3 layer goretex due to its hight air permeability)
