Just picked up a Kelty Noahs 12, after doing some research (which was well guided by the above posts!) I found that the kelty would give me the coverage I wanted at the price that most fit my budget. I am excited to get it and set it up. I will for sure post about it when I get it all setup. Thanks for the suggestions and hope all is well!

I will give a +1 for the superfly. Love the doors gives the added privacy as well as weather protection and still under 20oz.

I think you made the right call with the Kelty Noah 12 if weight/bulk are not issues or are minor ones you can deal with. The coverage looks great and gives you many options

I think as others have pointed out the tadpole is a very popular and well-made sil tarp with good coverage. I also happen to think the 8x10' flat silnylon tarp from Etowah Outfitters/ is a great deal @ $75 shipped (no affiliation) and often overlooked.

Superfly, that's what I started with. I did a lot of reading and asking around, glad I saved the time (and money) by going wth the SF right off.
