    Wink Vietnam teaser....

    G day everyone.
Im just in the middle of travelling around Vietnam. there is hammocks every where. I cant take pictures of all of them that I see. Im on a motor bike and by the time the camera is out and ready Its miles back but I have managed to get a small percentage of them. Which is many. there is some pretty nifty stuff.

Should be able to get the pictures up in month or so once I get back to Australia. If I can get any up sooner then I will ...but till then.. I'll check in when I can. Over a 1000 new post since last log on. No timeto read and type. More hammock to see and try.

This is an interesting picture I took while I was revisiting Vietnam with my daughter a couple of years ago. It was on the wall in a local bar. It says alot. You can check out the rest of the album if interested. We found the people to be very friendly and interested in talking to us. I know you are having the trip of a lifetime. My daughter actually returned again and did a motorcycle tour of the central highlands. I would say it was a initially a little weird landing in Hanoi....gave me a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach. It's a beautiful country....I'm glad they are finally at peace and beginning to prosper. I was there from 1966 to just before the Tet Offensive. I was wounded a couple of times and medavaced out the second time. Got a full retirement from the Marine Corps as a result.

PS Please post you trip pics.
