I enjoyed that; thanks for sharing! You do have some beautiful waterfalls to enjoy up there. All these trip report videos have me icing to get out on the trail!

Excellent video love the slow pans and stories you add along the trail. I'll bet that chair was comfy.

Whooooo Buddy right back atcha. Those kinda falls are so worth the walk. Fun to see your enthusiasm getting on the trail.
Can't wait to get out myself again soon. Muddy and still snow on the trail here.

Amen to that! A lot can be taken from me but my enthusiasm sure ain't one of them. Thanks again for all of the equipment and video advice!

Nice mix of different types of shots, and some nice discussion along the way. I didn't believe you when you said the North Country Trail was 4,500 miles long, the end points can't be more than 1,500 miles apart. On a second viewing I noticed that the trail kiosk in your video says the trail is 4,175 miles long. The NCT website says the trail is 4,600 miles long. That's crazy.

I hope I do half as well with my first trip report video. Of course before that happens, I'll need to do a trip. Soon, I hope.

The only suggestion I have for future videos would be a segment that shows a map of the trail we're hiking with some finger pointing and discussion of where we're going. For some reason, I really like maps, so I always enjoy that sort of thing.

Aside from video content, I'd suggest taking some time to spruce up your YouTube home page. Add a channel icon (usually a picture of you) to replace that blue box, and some channel art to replace that surrounding grey box. Use the 'View as Public' link at the top of your home page to see yourself the way the rest of the world sees you.

I'm looking forward to part 2, and I'm really looking forward to trip reports from the Adirondacks.

    --Peter
