I'm looking into the Thunderbird and have a question on the weight. When I calculate with Dream Hammock's calculator, the weight that comes up includes the winter cover and bug net correct? Does anyone know the weight of each of these pieces separately?
The weights shown on the hammock calculator include everything in the stuff sack, ready to go. (hammock, suspension, straps, guylines, net and overcover, etc.)
The overcover and it's removable peak bag weigh approx 5.35oz, while the net and peak bag weigh about 4.75oz. This is on an 11ft ThunderBird and the weights can vary a little from hammock to hammock.
