Nice looking spot. I bet Squidbilly knows the spot. I want to try one of these spots sometime, seemed like good spots to hang a hammock.

I've only been to Sipsey twice, and it seems I've seen a dozen places that look like that.
I've also covered a lot of the Sipsey and have seen similiar scenes many times. I will guess it's not on an official trail - most of the good stuff isn't.
However, the picture is labeled cotton fslls.jpg so I assume it's Cotton Falls. I don't have my map with me, but I'm not familiar with a creek or area named Cotton. BUT there's so much area still yet to cover. I'll check my map tonight and see what I can find.

I can't wait to go home and go camping in the sipsey. I am with dckhntn on this. Spent a lot of time exploring the sipsey and most of it looks like that to my memory. I love the sandstone there.

My forum name is Fish<><; I'm in the navy; and I hate sleeping on the ground. If I didn't need ground to walk on or measure resistance to, I think I could happily give it up.

I couldn't see anything on my map referring to cotton creek or cotton falls. I'm not saying this isn't in the Sipsey, but if it is i am not familiar with it.
