I'm just getting into hammock camping and decided on a JRB Bear Mountain Bridge for my first one. I added a Greylock 3 underquilt, some whoopie slings from Dutch along with amsteel replacement for the suspension triangle. I took it out last weekend to backpack across MD on the AT from Pen-Mar to Harpers Ferry, and it was awesome! By far the best sleep I've gotten on the trail. Luckily, the weather was great, but as you see in the picture, I had the JRB 11x10 tarp just in case.

p.s. Jack (and Jack) have been incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to stop by their place to try things out.

Thanks guys, and the whole forum for the great advice and ideas, I doubt I'll ever go back to ground-dwelling again!
