The RR is such a nice hammock that I hated to get rid of it. I had to for the fetal position reason, I just could not comfortably lay on my side in it. One beautiful piece of gear though, top quality.
I bought the WBBB XLC and things are now just about perfect. Nice review of a great hammock.

Tried it with the reflectix that came with my hennessy and I love how easy it was to install. The reflectix pad is almost a perfect fit in the Ridge Runner.

Nice summary. That's the crux of the RR for me, too.

    Pros:
    Super comfy, flat lay.
The Lynx uq is dead simple, with 0 fiddle factor

    Cons:
    Fetal position is tough
Requires a bit more tarp angle to not rub the bars

I have both the RR and the BB XLC and rotate between them. If I'm tired of not being able to curl up (which I like to do, I go with the XLC). If I don't want to fiddle with the uq, I go with the RR.

I have been using my BB's lately and actually only slept in the RR once, because I almost always have my daughter sleeping in it. It is a superb kids hammock, because there are no insulation issue whatsoever. Also the entire thing is like a comfort trough, and its super roomy if you weigh 39 lbs.

Here's a photo. We sleep in an open hay barn. She is holding a bird book because we always get woken up by the birds. She doesn't know what to do with the bird book, but she's pretty sure we should have it. Along with about 900 pounds of other stuff.

Yup. I have both. Got the Clark about 3 years ago. I started to feel that it was too big and bulky, also I was getting pain under my knees. So I went with the rr. Love the rr. Warbonnet make some solid stuff!
