DIAZ Tools Knife - New, never used

Sharpened portion of blade 2.5", full length of blade is 3". Full tang. Not sure of what material the handle is - maybe G10?

Only ever had it out of the included sheath a few times, never cut anything with it.

$90 obo delivered, will consider trades (possibly for a full-length underquilt)

The title piqued my interest. A tempting piece of steel for sure.

Thing is this, if I spend this much for a tool (and let's be fair, knives are tools) I'm bloody scared to use it. I abuse my Moras to no end. This is a fantastic piece of steel and it's incredibly well made, but I just can't bring myself to use it. I'm like that with everything. I'd rather abuse something cheap and keep buying them instead of abusing (or using properly) a quality tool that will actually stand up to it and only have to buy it once.

It's my mania.

Regardless, I tried to find something comparable on the Diaz website but I don't see anything in his "inventory" that quite fits with this one. That said, I've decided to let it go for less than what the cheapest handle-included offering on his site is.

Thats the "G10" I don't know that Jose is currently listing it as available. I have been coveting one for a little while. Looks like a great small backpacking blade. I like the looks of the orange with the grey Kydex.

I have 2 Diaz blades and have used another. I can attest to the high quality that goes into these.

I am so trying to resist this but have to ask...how well does it "click" into that Kydex sheath? Please tell me it's loose, floppy and dangerous. Like I NEED another knife.
