    I also believe that care and storage play a role in the life of shock cord. But on something like a Yeti quilt, with a fixed suspension, how many people tighten the shock cord when it doesnt seem to snug up. I usually see a plethora of advise when these questions are posted, but dont always see that as something that is suggested.

    I agree completely. I think shock cord is, basically, expendable. The shock cord I have on various things lasts in inverse proportion to the amount of time it has spent stretched out. A cheap replacement that might make a big difference.

    As to the OP after having my new incubator for a few weeks I have to say the design is masterful and has been practically no fuss for me. I have another top tear UQ and fiddled for weeks trying to eliminate that pesky under the knee gap with lots of frustration. The incubator ROCKS 😜 perfect fit almost zero fiddle factor on my 11' ThunderBird
