You're overreacting. We just try to give every benefit of the doubt to our vendors here on this forum, because it's often their reps here that drive their business. That's all trail slug is trying to tell you.

That's fine and I completely agree it should be that way I just don't like words put in my mouth. I stated it could be me doing something wrong when I tried to order! Didn't need that FYI remark. And all said and done I'll probably try to order a third time. They just have a different system then I'm use to.

Hey, I understand your frustration with the website. Sometimes I am amazed our small one man (or should I say woman) cottage business has survived with the original website I created.

I built the website from scratch, not knowing anything about website design....I know, it shows.... and have occasionally looked into paying to have one created that is more user friendly and administratively easier to use. Many have suggested a site made for mobile devices as well. Out of my realm though of ability and finances. Our small business, consisting mostly of zipper/tarp mods and made to order items, would increase beyond our control.

We are happy to offer what we offer, produced in the time frame we can handle, and hope our customers can overlook the antiquated website in favor of quality products made with care and pride.

Potential customers can always send us a PM or email and we will answer questions and help submit an order.

    SoaknWet,
Donna here...I'm sorry for the issues you are having with our website. We are a unique company in such that our business started with the Hennessy Zipper modifications completed on customer owned hammocks. We added the accessories and other modifications over the years.

As noted in Tim's post above, because we are a small company, it is too costly to set up the type of website that separates the accessory orders with immediate payment, from the modification plus accessory orders that are paid with a check or money order sent to us with their hammock or tarp.

Please send us a PM (best way) or email us at the address posted on our order form. We will then guide you in filling out the order form...and if that isn't successful, we will proceed with your order without the form.

Any other questions, please let me know.
    Thank you!

Just re-stumbled across this thread and saw that my video wasn't here, just me wishing for one.
I got one and love it.

"Mountains should be climbed with as little effort as possible and without desire. ... To live only for some future goal is shallow. It’s the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top. Here's where things grow." - Robert M. Pirsig

I had my tree table in use over the past weekend. There was a bit of an audience around my kitchen area as I made blueberry pancakes with fresh wild blueberries we collected in the Dolly Sods in WVa. I think the awesomeness of the tree table got more comments than the pancakes. Just saying. Like my chair; my tree table rarely gets left at home.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I think of your site as quaint more than antiquated. I love the things you've made for me.
When we visited Prager Port Works, someone in our group asked if they have a website (the internet was newer then) the answer was "Sure, it's right here:

    it's Windows based."
