    ARGON 1.6 Ripstop Nylon

    Introducing ARGON 1.6 Ripstop Nylon.
I have had so many request for an ARGON that has that ARGON feel for hammock that I set out to make the best fabric possible specifically designed for hammock bodies. I decided on a final weight of 1.6 per square yard in an extra thick ripstop so it has just the right amount of give that is it comfortable yet it is low stretch. It comes 60 inches wide and is uncoated and breathable. Now you can experience what it is like to sleep in your underquilt. A 10 foot single layer hammock body only weighs 9 ounces without a suspension. I made this first run in two colors; Black and the same Chocolate brown as ARGON 67 and ARGON Sil. Now your quilt hammock and tarp can all match perfectly. It weighs 75 grams per linier yard and is 1.6 ounces per square yard. I think it fill the gap for when 1.1 is too light and 1.9 is too heavy. I am introducing it at only $4.25 per liner yard to get it kicked off.

Hey Dutch. What is your opinion on using it for a bridge? Will the sew points take the stress or is this best for a gathered end?
