May Be The Last Cool Night

Bags are packed, just need to throw the kayak in the truck. Off to enjoy what will possibly be the last of the nice cool nights here on the gulf coast. N 30.38563 W 88.56475 here I come.

I'm jealous -- my weekend plans fell through.

Good luck and have a nice trip!

I went out paddling last week and the overnight lows were a surprising 28 degrees. Nice camping weather for April!

What a disappointing, let down, disaster, 1 hour 25 min of hard paddling against the current to get there only to find the place I had taken the kids to some 20 years ago for a great over nighter is now nothing but a thick over grown brush covered dry piece of land on the river. The only good thing about it, it just took me 55 min to get back to the take out point. So another set up in the backyard when I got home (again) but at least that was better than nothing.
