Got my new Warbonnet Blackbird XLC today and immediately set to work hanging it in my back yard. The BB and Superfly tarp went up without any hitches. Took a "test hang" and all was well. Hope to try it out overnight shortly.

Very nice setup. I am really starting to regret not ordering a Superfly with mine. Hopefully the Edge will do well enough for the time being.

My biggest fear is that when I'm dead, my wife will sell all of my hammock gear for what I said I paid for it!
Well, here it is the morning after my first night out hanging in the new setup......it was GREAT! I slept just fine, comfortable and plenty of room. I left the front of the tarp open - propped up on my poles - and enjoyed the view of that big, full moon last night. With my Thermarest in the dual layer and my down Gerry bag over me, I was comfortably warm tho the temp this morning was 39F. All in all, a very successful "first hang"
