Are you looking for an integrated bug net?
I guess it depends on the hammock and price. I need to read about them again, it's been some years since I last bought a hammock. But I think that may work.

If you're still looking, i've got a Warbonnet Blackbird for sale. Only been in the field 1 night, so basically still new. I think it'll fit your dad, but look it up on the Warbonnet site and see if it's right for him (he may need an XLC because of his height). Got the bugnet and ridgline you wanted. Uses webbing and cinch buckles for suspension, and I'll throw in the carabiners.
