JP_dog: please read the whole first post, and maybe even the original for sale thread. :-) The 120# limit was "set" by FIMB as a safety margin. It has held me just fine at 165#, and I've had no worries about it failing. FIMB says something similar in the original for sale thread where I bought it from him.

For Paulie's sake and the sake of those who have expressed interest in this model, I will say that even though I consider this a one time prototype, I am willing to remove the quilt and attach it to any double layer that the new owner has for the price of shipping both ways. I stand behind my products (even second owners for now), and if you are nervous about the "weight limit" don't be. I just wanted people to know that instead of a warranty on the seams, if the hammock fails, I'll transfer the quilt to any other double layer hammock. All you pay is shipping. Just putting that out there.
