The tablecloth material is approximately 2.6oz/sq yd.
((90"x156"/36"x36")x2.6oz/sq yds)/16oz/lb=roughly 1 and 3/4 lbs or 28oz
Given that this is for 2 people, divide by 2 and your each in under a pound.

The BIAS camper XL double layer is perfect for you, but I really really believe you would be much happier with two hammocks close together. Even sharing with a small child is hell on earth. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for all the information — and the photos, Ratdog
For those of you recommending tablecloths, do you know their strength or of a source to find their strength? How does the material feel? I laid in a friend's Grand Trunk Ultralight the other day, and while the feel of the fabric was okay, I got terrible static. My wife tried it out and had the same issue. I don't know if it was the polyester material, but has that ever happened to any of you with the tablecloth hammocks?
Thanks again!
Static is temporary. Once you lay in it a couple of times it goes away.

Wife and I have slept together in my dl table cloth 90 x 156 the past two weekends. Im a big ole boy at 6'6'' 275 and wife is 5'6'' just right. We had laid around in it in the yard and it was ok so we decided to try it on a camping trip. I will look for some pics and add them. It took some adjustments and moving around but it worked ok. Pics uploadfromtaptalk1399639121680.jpg I would add that you might want to pack a second top quilt seems like wives tend to claim the whole thing if it gets a little cool. Throw her in ax extra pair of good warm socks.
Wouldn't adding on to the width make a less stretchy seam? Seams that would be fairly uncomphy. Love the idea of sleeping with the wife though.
Thanks for the info and the pictures, bigsig. I'm glad to know it worked for you.
