    New Thunderbird - Order 907

My Thunderbird arrived in the mail today. I was working from home, so I took a little break to set it up real quick in the backyard and snap some pictures. More testing to follow, when I actually have time to set it up properly and sleep in it.

    Specs:

    Thunderbird # 907
    Length: 11'
Single Layer, 1.8oz Charcoal Grey Nylon Taffeta
    Whoopie Sling Suspension
    Overcover: 1.1oz Black
Weight: 31.4oz, with everything it comes with, in the stuff sack

Really liking the Charcoal Grey fabric. It looks great, and seems to lay pretty nice - firm, but not rock hard. Planning on swapping out the stock suspension for continuous loops and whoopie hooks once I have some time. Then I'll get it set up, and spend a few hours in it. In the meantime, pics to follow in the next post.

And a couple pictures of the end, for color comparison (different lighting):

In a peak bag at the foot end of the hammock.

I was technically goofing off while I should have been working, so I didn't take the time to set up the over cover and take pictures of that too. That'll be on the next round, once I swap the suspension.

Great looking setup. Congrats on the new gear! Those DreamHammocks are really nice. I love my WB BBXLC - especially the footbox. I really covet that dual bug net overcover in the same setup piece that some of the DreamHammocks have going on, though.

    Good looking sling.
I'm thinking we should have the Round Valley Raffle on the 17th, would you consider donating a nice new, hardly used or tested TB????
