Superfly too much for AT thru?

I'm looking for a consensus on tarp selection for my upcoming sobo thru of the AT. I picked up two Superflys (his and hers) in December, with the intention of avoiding shelters and towns when the weather turned foul (we were originally planning NOBO starting in late Feb.) Now that we're heading south, I'm feeling that the SF is a little too much tarp for our needs. I've been toying with the idea of picking up a few Tadpoles and selling the SF's here. Any advice? Anyone looking for a never used Superfly?

You'll want the doors to keep blowing rain out of your shelter area and give you some privacy for changing and cleaning up. The tadpole with one door is the same price as the superfly. If you get doors for both ends it now costs more and weighs the same. I'd stick with the superfly.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

being out for awhile, you'll see all types of weather, I'd stick with the full coverage tarp personally. Saving a couple of ounces just isn't worth the headache...
