    I know you said you prefer a snake skin for the hammock, but when I did a trip to Yosemite last year, I had my tarp in skins and my hammock, ,TP, and UQ all in a large bishop bag. Worked great for fast deployment and clean up. Once I did it a couple of times I didn't have any issue keeping the hammock of the ground. It's also real easy to convert any store bought stuff sack for the use (i used an old sack from one of my old sleeping bags. If you still don't want to try it but you want to look into a skin big enough for hammocks and quilts, wilderness logics has the lazy slug tube for $40ish.

    lazy slug tubes rock! sure, they add a little weight but they make setup/take down so much easier.
    they make great storage areas for items that you want to keep off of the wet ground also.

    i can lay on the ground without fear of damaging quilts on snags or getting them wet.
    they really are lazy.

    That's nice I like that... and on a side note while browsing after searching hanging a backpack I found a thread from last year with the same question. Guess I should have search hh snakeskin in stead of spelling it out...

    According to the previous thread. They'll fit. Just not perfect.
