Making a DL 1.6/1.1 question

I've got a relative that wants me to make him a hammock capable of supporting 300lbs.. But he wants MARPAT on the outside layer to match his ILBE. I've made plenty of DL's before, but I usually put the lower denier nylon on the inside, and put the heavier stuff on the outside (1.1/1.9, or 1.1/1.6)

Does anyone have any experience doing it with the heavier denier on the inside? In my head, I know it should work fine, but just want to ask before I order materials.

Or, better yet.. anyone know of a source for MARPAT in 40-70d (1.6-1.9) ?

Most of my DIY hammocks are double layer and I use different fabrics for the two layers most of the time. I have not seen and difference on which is the top or bottom layer. One of the last ones I did was a Marpat Camo 1.1 and a ACU Camo 1.6.
