Hello from New Mexico

Hey Frenchycamp,

I'm from Los Lunas area, but I fish New Mexico, Colorado to Montana...The San Juan River is my home water... I love to hike the Pecos Wilderness, just was up there a few months back, went up to Johnson Lake to fish a little..

It would be great to get together with you guys to do some fishing and hanging.... So, if any of you guys from NM/TX/CO area are game let me know..!

Hey Yeti, would love to hang sometimes. Priller, a member from Rio Rancho, and I, go on backpacking trips every couple months or so. I don't fish but I'm happy to hike to any of the mountain lakes. Will probably go for another trip in the next month or so. will let you know...

Welcome from far West Texas! ( as far as you can get, I'm 5 miles from NM myself ). Glad to hear from more NM hangers. Hopefully you all will do a group hang, there are not many places more scenic then NM.

Hey FJRPilot..

Far west Texas.. I call it the hot pot, because it's so hot down there...lol.. New Mexico does have some really nice places.... Like the Gila... Last time I was down your way I did a fly fishing/fly tying demo at Sportsman's Elite..
If you guys do any group hangs let me know. Would like to get in on one.. Sounds like a lot of fun. As a new hanger I can learn a lot....

I sure will, I'm thinking that a group hang in the Gila, maybe near the cliff dwellings on the river in September/October might be something folks would be interested in...
