I have been wanting an orange tarp for a while (blending in is nice but I like fun colors) and finally broke down and ordered a Blaze Orange Toxaway Tarp from Arrowhead Equipment. I added panel pulls to both sides and had the tarp seam sealed. The custom work added about a week to delivery time, which didn't seem bad to me, although the wait was killing me.
Last week my Toxaway arrived. The first thing I noticed was that the stuff sack wasn't the same color as the tarp. I was worked at first that AHE had made a mistake but with a closer look, I could see the blaze orange shining through grey stuff sack. The second thing I noticed was how small the tarp was in the stuff sack. It looked only a little bigger than my 11ft Wilderness Logics Tadpole!

Sadly, it took about a week for me to get it setup for a test. I've been waiting for some blaze orange guy line to arrive so I could properly rig up this beauty, but I think that shipment may be stuck/lost in USPS limbo. I couldn't take it any longer, and threw whatever spare guy lines I had on the tarp so I could take it for a test run.

So far I am very pleased with my Toxaway. It is beautiful, spacious, light and well made. It is also a steal for the price and I would recommend one to anybody looking for a new tarp. The only drawback I can think of now is that once I put snake skins on the tarp, it was a very tight fit back into the stuff sack. Not the designer's fault, but I like a little extra room in my stuff sacks so my gear can mold to the empty space in my pack. No deal breaker for sure.
I can't wait to take it out for real and see how it does in the wild.
