    40° Burrow finally tested!

I received my 40° +1oz Burrow a couple months ago and finally got to test it out while turkey hunting this past weekend. I paired it up with my 40° +2oz Incubator.

Arriving around 9PM the first night was pretty nasty, 70° and humid from the warm front moving into northern Michigan. Got a decent sweat going just from setting up.

First night low: barely got down to 59°F!! Obviously slept great in this warm weather without socks, long underwear, hat, etc.

Second night: still warm with a low of 44°F and most of the night was probably still in the 50s.

Third night: forecast said 34° but my thermometer showed about 42°. I wore socks this night but probably didn't need to.

Since I only wore boxers and a tshirt every night, I am confident I can get this into the mid-upper 30s easy. Maybe lower with a fleece shirt/long underwear.

Other than the wet dog stink (not too strong though), I am very happy with my Burrow!

I do love how cottage manufacturer temps are actually comfort temps and not survival temps.

I did notice a slight wet dog/fishy smell on my recent incubator, too. Nothing too concerning and it's already fading but that treated down - or whatever batch they're currently using does smell a tiny bit out of the box.
