Rivendell, you got plenty of time to weasel that new fishing yak from your financial advisor. I have all the faith in the world in you. Ha

Remember--Some People are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....
I can't wait to go on the river kayaking trip! Don't worry about being guy-trapped Poof; You'll have me to put them in line
Hi everyone! I am thrilled that everyone wants to go yaking!!
I hope everyone can work it out to go, it will be great fun I know that I'm very excited about going!
I'm going to throw something out for the group to consider...due to the number of us that want to go and the very limited hanging potential for a group our size on the privately owned land on the Clinch...what do you think about doing the New River instead?
There is plenty of hanging available there...
Thoughts...suggestions???
~Poof~
Sounds like you are saying we have out grown the Clinch....google map does show a lot of farmland/private property. Wouldnt have to worry about that on the New.
We need Kangaru to chime in since that is his backyard.
Just remembered the Greenbriar if we want a truly wild far away experience while floating.
Did TwoTrees confirm that stealthing this many people would probably not be possible on the Clinch?
How many of us would be disrupted by a river change?

I'll check with my Mother today, she recently sold a farm with 150 acres of riverfront on the south side of the Clinch,,Could probably get permission because new owner lives in Ar. I think. Ironically the name in the stone arch at the gate is Rivendell . I'll check back in as soon as I find something out.

I would like to join this trip. Any river would be good for me!
