    Smile Hi Everyone

I was introduced to hammocks about twelve years ago. I bought a Clark back then but have only used it a few times. In the past I didn't have time to backpack but I do now. I hate the suspension on it so I've been messing with it and checked out Youtube, and well I found this guy on there and he recommended this sight so here I am. This looks like a new home for me! So I thought I'd say hi to everyone!

Welcome from Mandeville, Louisisna. I've been into hammock camping for a couple of years now, and love it. Going on multiple camping trips with my son on cub, then Boy Scouts, I always tolerated tent camping. Since I bought my first hammock and tarp, I just can't get enough. Cold and rain are no longer obstacles. Started backpacking about 6 months ago, and now am deep into lightweight backpacking and hammock camping. Awesome. Be sure to check out all of Shug's video. Trust me, the most experienced and knowledgeable contributor to the forum. Entertaining, experienced, knowledgeable, and genuine. Best of luck to you. This forum is excellent. I've learned an incredible amount in a very short time.

Welcome to the forum, Greyrock. Yeah, my son had a Clark ultralight. Great hammock, but he hated the suspension. We converted it over to whoopie slings. I second what JumpinJackJim says about Shug's videos.

    Welcome from Philly.
When I was a kid the only time we were in the house was to eat and sleep.
